Welcome to Year 3 

Year 3 marks an exciting first step into Key Stage 2. The year is guided by our wonderful teaching team: Miss Jones, Miss Allsop‑Buckler and Miss Akhtar, who support the children as they grow in confidence and independence.

One of the highlights of Year 3 is the introduction to a new world of music, where children learn to play the cornet or pBone, proudly showcasing their developing talents in both the Christmas and end‑of‑year performances. Our adventures extend beyond the classroom too, with memorable trips such as a visit to Habberley Trail, where children discover the joy of nature and often topped off with a cheeky ice cream. Sports Day is another much‑loved event, filled with fun challenges and friendly competition (with Miss Jones known to get very competitive!). Year 3 truly is a year of growth, discovery and excitement for every child.
