  Unfortunately, we have made the decision to close Summerhill today due to the adverse weather conditions. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but the safety of our pupils and staff is our priority. We look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Monday.

• Evergreen Project

  Evergreen is our innovative approach to using digital devices to enhance teaching and learning. All pupils have access to devices with pupils in Years 3 and above having their own device to use in school and at home.

  Why are we doing this?  

  With Evergreen, we combine the best of digital and traditional teaching to prepare our pupils for a fast-changing digital world. We are committed to empowering our pupils to harness the power of technology to achieve an extraordinary education, develop into extraordinary people, and create extraordinary futures. 

   

  Evergreen aims to: 

  • Enhance the overall learning experience: By integrating digital devices with traditional teaching methods, we provide a thorough learning environment that caters to all pupils’ needs. 

  • Enable learning anywhere, anytime: Pupils can access educational resources both in the classroom and at home, ensuring continuous learning opportunities. 

  • Narrow the digital divide: By providing equal access to technology, we ensure that all pupils have the tools they need to succeed. 

  • Foster independence: Encouraging pupils to take charge of their learning journey, becoming more self-reliant and motivated. 

  • Personalise learning: Tailoring educational experiences to meet the unique needs of each pupil, enhancing their engagement and understanding.

• Open Events 2023-2024

  If you have a child due to start in reception in September 2024 please come and visit the school during one of our open events. We are delighted to be able to show you around the school and answer any questions.
