Welcome to Year 5

In Year 5, we are proud to offer an engaging and inspiring year for our children. Led by Miss Allmark, Miss Till, Miss Houlders and Mr Walters, we create a supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop greater independence, curiosity and confidence in their learning. Throughout the year, our pupils take part in a memorable educational visit to Hampton Court Palace, where they deepen their understanding of the Tudors through an immersive historical experience. They also enjoy another exciting enrichment opportunity later in the year, designed to further enhance and bring their classroom learning to life.
In addition, children have opportunities to network with local high schools and participate in a range of workshops, helping them build confidence and begin preparing for the transition to secondary education. Alongside this, pupils continue to develop their creativity and teamwork through a variety of subjects and activities. Year 5 is a year where pupils broaden their horizons, embrace new opportunities and continue to grow as confident, capable learners.
